A Dallas-based chocolate maker has turned her love of chocolate into replicas of what fashionistas crave - authentic designer shoes. For Valentine's Day, she is busy filling orders, but her best customers might surprise you.
Amazing chocolate shoes.
Had a wonderful time this weekend at the Chocolate Conference festivities visiting with fellow chocolatiers, chocolate makers, farmers, and chocolate lovers (addicts). Thank you to Sander Wolf of DallasChocolate.org bring us all together in the chocolate circle of life. A special welcome to all the new faces we met Casandra from Queen Cocoa Bean, Colin Gasko of Rogue Chocolatier, Scott from Tejas Chocolate, and Kari from Taza Chocolate (which we carry in our store front). Tasted so many new and wonderful creations that it has us running to our chocolate canvas to create new flavors and designs. If you didn't make it to this years event look for it next year it will leave you craving for more chocolate goodness.
A special thanks to Jayme Campbell from Confection Confessions for always supporting us and loving our Salted Caramels and Dulce De Leche, to Short Horn Features for Tweeting our heels, and Rachel aka FoodBitch for using our Fortunato no.4 in her weekends blog post at the Dallas Observer. Love you ladies and you should too, follow them on twitter, instagram, and facebook to keep you up to date on local treats and eateries!
